Since its premiere in 1992 with the LPO and Franz Welser-Möst, (3 sold-out performances at the Royal Festival Hall), LRRH has played to packed houses all over the world. It has been particularly successful in Scandinavia where in 1996, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra presented it to 20,000 children.

Little Red Riding Hood was released as a CD by EMI in a performance starring Julie Walters, Ian Holm and Danny DeVito, who also appeared in an award-winning television film of the piece, directed by Donald Sturrock and with choreography by Matthew Bourne, now available on video.
