Roald Dahl Plus @ King's Place
In December 2008 our festival of music and events based around the theme of Roald Dahl and Childhood was curated by Peter Ash, with concerts for schools, families and grown-ups. There were free Roald Dahl concerts at lunchtimes performed by local school children, while the Dante Quartet presented Mozart as a teenager. Aleksandar Madzar played Tchaikovsky, and Joan Rodgers' and Roderick Williams' performance of Mahler's 'Des Knaben Wunderhorn' was given a 3-Star review by Geoff Brown in The Times. ; Quentin Blake gave a talk on how his illustration tells its stories in 'We All Join In', Gerald Scarfe on 'A Caricaturist's Youth'. 'Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood' by Paul Patterson and Britten's 'A Ceremony of Carols' made a festive Christmas finale.

Keepers of the Night
Keepers of the Night, a childrens opera by composer Peter Ash and librettist Donald Sturrock received its world premiere performances on 12 July 2007 at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, California.
Letters of a Love Betrayed
A new opera has been commissioned from composer Eleanor Alberga, with a libretto by Donald Sturrock, based on the Isabel Allende story Cartas de Amor Traicionado.
Schools Musicals
